- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 tea. salt
- 3 cups mixed nuts
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 tea. baking soda
- 2 tea. vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
Coat a large baking sheet with cooking spray.
Combine the sugar, water, and corn syrup in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil and cook until the sugar has dissoved and the temperature has reached 270 degrees on a candy thermometer, about 15 minutes.
Stir in the salt and nuts and cook, stirring, until the temperature reaches 300 degrees (5-6 minutes longer).

Pour onto the baking sheet and spread with a spatula into as thin a layer as possible.
