Blueberry Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 small boxes of black cherry Jell-O
  • 2 cans blueberries
  • 2 small cans crushed pineapple
  • 2 bars of Philadelphia cream cheese
  • 16 oz container of sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

Drain blueberries and crushed pineapple and save the juice. When making the Jell-O, boil 2 cups of water, dissolve Jell-O, then add 2 cups of the saved juice instead of 2 cups of water as it says on the box. When the Jell-O is a little over halfway done, mix the blueberries and pineapple into the Jell-O and let it stand by itself overnight.

To make the topping, mix sour cream, cream cheese, vanilla, sugar and chopped pecans in a bowl and spoon it over the set Jell-O the next day.
