Hershey Bar Cake

Ingredients

  • For the cake:
  • 1 pkg. Swiss chocolate or German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 small pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • For the icing:
  • 1 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 12-oz. carton Cool Whip (thawed)
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 1 large Hershey bar (4.25 oz) with or without almonds, cut into small pieces.

Preparation

Step 1

For the cake:
Mix all ingredients together. Makes three 9" layers.
Bake @325 degrees 20-25 minutes. Ice when cool.

For the icing:
Mix sugars and cream cheese until smooth. Add
Cool Whip, nuts and chocolate bar. Mix well. Put plenty
icing between layers and on top of cake.

**You can be generous when spreading icing as the recipe
makes an ample amount......I put my Hershey bar in the food
chopper.
