    tsp baking soda

  • 1

    c white sugar

  • 1/4

    tsp salt

  • Zest of one lemon

  • 8

    oz (2 sticks) cold butter, cubed

  • 1

    egg

  • 1

    tsp vanilla extract

  • 2

    TBS to 1/4 cup cold water

  • FILLING

  • 1-12 oz package cranberries

  • 3/4

    c white sugar

  • 2

    TBS cornstarch

  • Juice of one lemon

Directions

Oven 350 degrees, grease 13x9 pan In bowl of food processor, add flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and lemon zest. Pulse to combine. Add the butter and pulse until the dough is crumbled into small pieces. Move the crumbles to bowl of stand mixer. Mix in egg and vanilla. Add water 1 TBS at a time until dough comes together. Press half the dough into prepared pan. Reserve remaining dough. Ina medium bowl combine sugar, cornstarch. Add cranberries and lemon juice, stir to coat. Spread cranberries in a single layer over dough. Crumble the remaining dough over the top of the cranberries. Bake for 30-35" or until the top and sides are golden brown.
