Ingredients

  • 1 Ib ground beef
  • 1 Ib grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 c chopped onion
  • 1/2 c chopped parsley
  • 1/2 chopped red pepper (optional)
  • 1 t salt
  • 1/2 t pepper
  • 1 T sage
  • 3 eggs well beaten
  • 1 loaf Rhodes Frozen bread (thawed)

Step 1

In a large fry pan, fry ground beef, onion, salt, pepper, and sage. Cook until well done. Then stir in parsley, egg, red pepper, and cheese and set aside.
Divide thawed loaf into 10 balls of dough. Roll each ball out into a rectangle shape. Place a scoup of beef cheese filling onto each piece of dough. Roll dough around filling and pinch off at both ends creating an enclosed log. Place on a baking sheet and bake at 375 for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and brush with butter or whipped egg whites.
You can substitute cresent rolls or your favorite tortilla.
