Texas Cake

Ingredients

• 1 cup water
• 4 tablespoons cocoa
• 2 sticks butter
• 2 cups sugar
• 2 cups flour
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 cup sour cream 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation

Step 1

Boil together water, cocoa and butter. add to sugar, flour, eggs, sour cream, baking soda, vanilla and salt. Bake in greased 11 x 16 pan at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Ice as soon as you take it out of oven with:

2 tablespoons cocoa
3 tablespoons milk
1/2 stick butter'1/2 box powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup pecans

Boil together cocoa, milk and butter. Add sugar and vanilla and spread over hot cake.
