Ingredients
- bag of navy beans
- 4 c14 oz cans chicken broth
- 1 large onion- chopped
- 2 garlic cloves- crushed
- 1 T pepper
- 1 T oregano
- 1 T cumin
- 1/2 cloves
- 5 cup cooked chicken
- 2 cans green chiles
- 1 cup water
- 1 jalapeno pepper
- shredded jack cheese
- salsa
- sour cream

Preparation
Step 1
1. wash beans and soak over night. (cover with water 2 inches over beans- drain in morning)
2. Add 3 cans broth and next 7 ingredients (thru cloves) and bring to a boil, then simmer, covered for 2 hours or till tender. (check beans) stir occasionally.
3. add other can of broth and next 4 ingredients- cover and simmer another hour.
4. top with cheese, salsa, and sour cream
** may need to cook much longer to get the right consistency.
