Rhubarb Steak Sauce

Ingredients

  • 8 cups chopped rhubarb
  • 4 cups diced onion
  • 2 cups vinegar
  • 2 1/3 cups brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tea. cinnamon
  • 1 tea. allspice
  • 1/2 tea. ground cloves
  • 1 tea. salt
  • 1/2 tea. pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients together in a saucepan. bring to a boil, then turn down heat and simmer for about an hour.

Allow it to cool, pour into containers and store some in the refrigerator and the rest in the freezer.
