    c. butter

  • 2

    c. sugar

  • 2

    eggs

  • 4

    large, very ripe bananas, mashed

  • 1

    c. milk

  • 3

    c. flour

  • 2

    t. baking soda

  • 1/2

    t. salt

  • CARAMEL FROSTING

  • 1/2

    c. butter

  • 1

    c. packed brown sugar

  • 1/4

    c. hot milk

  • 3 1/4

    c. icing sugar

Directions

CAKE 1. Cream butter, sugar and eggs til fluffy. 2. Stir in mashed bananas and milk. 3. Combine flour, soda and salt. 4. Add dry ingredients to banana mixture and blend thoroughly. 5. Pour batter into greased and floured 9"x13" pan. 6. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes or til done. 7. Cool and top with frosting. CARAMEL FROSTING 1. Boil butter, brown sugar and milk over medium heat for 2 minutes. 2. Cool. 3. Beat in powdered sugar until desired consistency is reached. 4. Pour over cake and spread.
