Spanish Sangria

  • Simple Sugar:
  • 1 bottle Spanish red wine
  • 1/4 cup cognac
  • 1/4 cup curracao
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup
  • 2 oranges, cut into half wheels
  • 2 peaches, cut into cubes
  • 2 lemons, cut into half wheels
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water



Step 1

Put all ingredients in a large glass or ceramic pitcher or other container and stir well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Serve over ice.

Simple sugar: bring water and sugar to a boil in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Cool syrup completely and store in refrigerator.
