Ham Glazed with Spiced Plum Conserve

  • 1 8-lb. fully cooked, bone-in ham
  • 1 Tbsp. whole cloves
  • 3 cups Spiced Plum Conserve (Separate Recipe)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325. Place ham in an aluminum foiled lined 13x9 inch pan. Make shallow cuts in fat, 1 inch apart in a diamond patter. Insert cloves in centers of diamonds. Pour conserve over ham, add 1/2 water to pan, and cover with foil. Bake 4 hours or until a meat thermometer inserted into thickest portion registers 165. Baste with pan juices every hour. Remove from oven, and let stand 15 minutes before serving.
