Easy Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar (when using sweetened fruit, you can cut back on sugar)
  • 1 can fruit (peaches, fresh or canned)
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 stick margarine or butter

Preparation

Step 1

Heat 1 cup sugar with fruit.
Mix flour, 1 cup sugar, milk, baking powder and salt.
Melt butter or margarine in pan. Pour batter in on top of butter, then add fruit. Bake at 350 degrees till brown on top.
