Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup overly ripe bananas
  • 1/2 c milk (w/ 1/2 t vinegar mixed into it)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 cups flour

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Peel and beat bananas and set aside.

Mix together sugar, butter, eggs.

Combine milk, vanilla, & beaten bananas.

Combine flour & baking soda.

Mix the sugar, butter, & eggs with the milk, vanilla, & bananas.

Add the flour and baking soda mixture.

Pour into greased and floured bread loaf pans.

Bake for 1 hr, or until top splits and bread pulls away from the side of the pan.
