Easy Eggnog Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 15 oz can of PURE pumpkin..not the MIX
  • 1 1/4 C eggnog
  • 2/3 C sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice plus some 1 for garnish
  • 1/4 Tsp of salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 9 nch frozen deep dish pie crust
  • whipped cream for garnish

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375. In large bowl with wire whisk, mix pumpkin, sugar, eggnog, spice, salt and eggs until well blended.

Place frozen pie crust on cookie sheet on oven rack. Pour in pumpkin mixture. Mixture will come almost up to the top of the crust.

Bake pie 60 to 65 minutes or until mixture puffs up around the edges and center is just set, but not puffed up.

Cool pie completely on wire rack. Refrigerate until ready to serve or up
