Ingredients

  • 1 lb round steak
  • 1 T vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, mashed
  • 2 T flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 T shortening
  • 2 med onions, chopped
  • 2- 4oz cans chiles
  • 1- 14 oz can enchilada sauce
  • 1- 14 oz can tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 c water
  • 2 potatoes, sliced

Step 1

Rub meat with vinegar. Pour on garlic, flour, salt and pepper. Cut into 1" strips. Brown. Reduce heat and cook 15-20 mins. Add remaining ingredients and continue cooking approx 1 hr.
