Balsamic Vinaigrette

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped garlic
  • 1 1/2 tbsp light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 1 1/2 cup extra virgin oil
  • water

Preparation

Step 1

Combine the vinegar, garlic, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, salt and pepper in a bowl and shisk until blended. Add the olive oil slowly, whisking constantly until blended. Add water to reach the desired consistency if the dressing is too thick. Store the vinaigrette in a jar with a tight fitting lid in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
