Fresh Strawberry Swirl

Ingredients

  • 1 c. Graham Crackers crumbs
  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 c. melted butter
  • 2 c. sliced strawberries
  • 1 pkg. strawberry jells
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 lb. large marshmallows
  • 1/2 c. mild
  • 1 c. cream whipped

Preparation

Step 1

Make Graham Crackers crust. Press in 9X9 in pan. Put 2 tablespoon sugar on strawberries and let set. Dissolve jells in hot water. Drain berries. Measure juice and add water to make 3/4 cup liquid. Add this to jells mixture. Chill till partially set. Heat together marshmallows and mild and stir till marshmallows are melted. Melt over low heat. Cool. Fold whipped cream into this. Add drained berries to jells mixture. Combine marshmallow mixture to berry-jells mixture to make a swirled effect. Spread in pan with crumbs on top chill till firm. Top each serving with whipped cream and whole strawberry.
