Ingredients
- Topping:
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/4 cup + 1 T. cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 cups milk
- 4 egg yolks
- 2 T soft butter
- 1 T + 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 bananas
- 2 bananas
- 3 egg whites
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/3 c. sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt in saucepan slowly stir in milk. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly till it boils. Boil 1 minute and add small amount of pudding to egg yolks and then pour all together back into saucepan. Boil again for 1 minute.
Put plastic wrap over pudding and cool to room temp. Slice bananas and put into pie crust then top with pudding.
