Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon bourbon
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- pinch of pepper
- 2 chicken breasts, skinned, cut in small pieces
- 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped (or garlic powder)
- 5 green onions cut in 1/2 inch pieces
- ginger root grated to taste (1/8 teaspoon)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 3/4 cup cashews

Step 1
Combine first 5 ingredients (soy sauce, bourbon, cornstarch, salt, pepper), marinate chicken in it for at least 20 minutes. Heat 2 tablespoons oil, add next 3 ingredients (garlic, green onions, ginger), sauté for 1 minute. Add chicken, stir fry for 2-5 minutes or until done. Remove to plate. Add 2 tablespoons oil, broccoli, stir fry for 2 minutes. Return chicken to pass and toss. Combine all other ingredients (soy sauce, cornstarch, water, sugar, cashews) and heat thoroughly.
