Ingredients
- 2 cans minced clams
- 2 slices bacon or 2 T butter
- 3 cups peeled and cubed potatoes
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cubes bouillon
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup cream
- salt and pepper to taste
- old bay seasoning
- Mrs dash to taste
- Instant potato flakes

Preparation
Step 1
drain clams reserving juice. add water to clam juice to make 1 cup.
saute bacon in large saucepan. remove bacon and put on paper towel
saute onion and potatoes in bacon drippings. add clam juice and bouillon. boil till potatoes are tender
add milk, cream, old bay, mrs dash, salt and pepper, and clams. bring to boil.
add potato flakes till desired consistency
