Ingredients

  • 14 cups popped corn (2 microwave bag, microwave 2 minutes and take out old maids)
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 3/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp. vanilla
  • M & M's

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 300°. Butter saucepan, popcorn bowl and cookie sheets.
Combine sugar, butter and syrup in saucepan. Cook to hard ball in ice water stage (12-14 minutes). Remove from heat and quickly mix in soda and vanilla. Pour over popcorn and quickly and thoroughly mix. Spread on cookie sheets and bake 5-6 minutes. Cool and break into small pieces. Store in a sealed container with M & M's and/or peanuts.
