Ingredients
- Filling:
- 9 medium golden delicious apples, cored, pealed, and sliced
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Biscuit Dough:
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 2 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 stick-8 tablespoon- cold butter

Step 1
Heat over to 400'
Have a 2 quart shallow baking dish. Mix apples with remaining ingredients. Put mixture in ungreased dish and cover. Bake for 20 minutes or until apples are tender.
Prepare dough:
Mix flour, sugar, and baking powder in medium size bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Pour milk over top and toss lightly with forks until dough forms. Drop dough by mounds over to apples. Bake uncovered 25-30 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
