Marshmallow Fudge Bars

Ingredients

  • Frosting:
  • 1 c. butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 4 tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. nutmeats
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 2 sq. chocolate unsweetened
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and beat. Add dry ingredients and nuts. Spread on greased 11x15 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and cover with miniature marshmallows. Bake 2 to 3 minutes till marshmallows are soft. Spread over bars.

Frosting: Bring brown sugar, chocolate and water to boil and boil 3 minutes. Add butter and vanilla. Cool. Add powdered sugar. Drizzle back and forth over marshmallow topping. Cut when cool.
