Freezer Corn

Ingredients

  • 6 c. fresh corn
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 tsp. sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Remove husks and silk from corn on the cob. Cut off corn. Combine 6 cups corn with the remaining ingredients. Boil together for 1 minute. Cool by setting pan on ice or in cold water (do not add any water to the mixture). Stir frequently so this may cool rapidly. When cool spoon into freezer packages and freeze.

To prepare cook only in the liquid the corn is froze in stirring occasionally. Butter and serve.
