Ingredients
- 1 German chocolate cake mix
- 3/4 c. oleo (melted)
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 14 oz. pkg. (50) lt. caramels
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1
Mix the first four ingredients together. Press half of this mixture into pan. Bake 6 minutes. Melt together the caramels and evaporate milk; pour this over the first layer. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the caramel layer. Thin the rest of the cake mixture with a little evaporated milk; spread over the top of the chips. Bake 15-18 minutes at 350 degree. Cool slightly. Cut into small squares while still warm.
