Pineapple Dessert

Ingredients

  • 60 pkg. crackers
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 8 egg yolks
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 crushed pineapple
  • 1 pkg. of lemon jells
  • 8 egg whites
  • 1 c. sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Crush 60 packet crackers and add 1/2 cup melted butter. Put 2/3 of this mixture on the bottom of 9X13 pan. Cook 8 egg yolks, 1 cup sugar, 1 no 2 crushed pineapple until thick. Then add 1 packet of lemon jells and stir till dissolved. Let this mixture cool then beat 8 egg whites and add 1 cup sugar. Stir these 2 mixture together and put in cake pan. Sprinkle with remaining crumbs.
