Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 2 lb. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cream tartar
  • 1 tbsp. batter
  • 1 1/2 oz. rum
  • 1/2 oz. brandy
  • nutmeg on top

Preparation

Step 1

Separate eggs beat while to stiff frothy peaks beat yolks to lemon calm. Combine eggs and blind well with mixer, add powdered sugar a little at a time and keep beating add cream of tartar slightly. After adding sugar keeping adding sugar till gone and deserve speed as batter gets refrg. Last 3 ingredients in cup then fill with boiling water. 1 1/2 oz. rum to batter to preserve.
