Sausage Bites (Spooky)

By

Found in a Gooseberry Patch book for holiday recipes, these were originally titled Spooky Sausage Bites. Only downside is that for two meats with a high content of fat, it might come out salty for some people.

The group I made them for, really weren't worried about that part. I really didn't make enough! And they never even bothered with the dipping sauce. But that was good too!

Preparation

Step 1

Wrap each sausage with a piece of bacon and secure with a wooden toothpick. Bake at 400 degrees on a lightly greased broiler pan for 15 minutes; turn and bake an additional 15-20 minutes, until bacon is golden and crisp. Drain on paper towels.

For sauce, combine marmalade and remaining ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat on high for one minute. Serve with sausage bites.
