Ingredients
- 1 bag brussel sprouts quartered & blanched
- 1/4 c. diced smoked bacon
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 shallot minced
- 2 T. grain mustard
- 4 oz chicken stock
- 1 lemon juiced
- 2 T. butter
Preparation
Step 1
Heat 1 T. of the butter over medium heat & carmelize sprouts for 3 minutes. Set aside.
In separate pan, crisp bacon for 3 minutes, then add garlic & shallots & continue to cook for 1 minute.
Deglaze pan with stock and lemon juice. Whisk in butter and mustard.
Toss in sprouts & serve.
