Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. crème of tartar
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
Step 1
Crème butter, add sugar gradually, Crème until light and fluffy. Add eggs 1 at a turn, beat after rack. Stir in vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together. Add gradually. Until 3-4 hours. Roll on well floured surface 1/4-1/8 inch thick. Cut in shapes. Bake 375 degrees for 6-8 minutes. Cool slightly on street before removing.
