Autumn Apple Crisp

  • Topping:
  • 10 cups apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 T flour
  • 1 t ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 t nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup quick cooking oats
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 T cinnamon
  • 1/4 t baking powder
  • 1/4 t baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted



Step 1

Preheat oven to 350.

Place sliced apples in 9x13 pan. Mix white sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg together and sprinkle over apples. Pour water evenly over all.

Topping: Combine oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and melted butter together. Crumble evenly over apple mixture.

Bake for about 45 minutes.
