Preparation

Step 1

Cube bread and cream cheese. Alternate layers of bread and cream cheese in a 9 x 13 baking dish. Mix remaining ingredients. Pour over bread. Let set overnight in refrigerator. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes – 1 hour.

Tip: Let set for about 10-15 minutes after baking. Sprinkle with Cinnamon Sugar.

Notes: I pack the bread into the pan, using much more than 12 slices. I will also alternate the bread with cinnamon bread. Or I sprinkle cinnamon sugar between the layers. My family doesn't like the cream cheese, so I omit it for them.
This is a favorite Christmas morning. I use the left over bread from Christmas eve (French, Italian, etc). Then it bakes while presents are opened.
