Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • Reserve one cup for topping
  • 1/2 cup melted margarine cooled
  • 1 egg
  • Second layer
  • 1 large can pumpkin
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 tea cinnamon
  • 2/3 cup canned milk
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • Topping
  • reserved cake mix (one cup)
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup margarine

Preparation

Step 1

Mix cake, margarine and egg and press in a 9x13 pan

Mix pumpkin, eggs, cinnamon, milk and brown sugar and pour over first layer

Cut reserved cake mix, sugar and margarine like a pie crust
Sprinkle on top of pumpkin mixture
Add nuts (optional)

Bake 350 for 1 hour
