Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix
  • 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. shortening
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Preparation

Step 1

Combine beef, 1/4 cup onion soup mix, bread crumbs and egg.
Shape into 12 (approx.) meatballs.
Brown in skillet in 1 Tbsp. shortening, pour off fat.
Blend in remaining soup mix and flour - gradually stir in water and parsley. Cover and cook over low heat 10 minutes - stirring occasionally.
Slowly blend in sour cream.
Serve with noodles.
