Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup butter, cut into pieces
- 1 (6oz) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Step 1
In a 2 quart saucepan combine the sugar and butter. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally until candy thermometer reaches 300* or small amount of mixture dropped into ice water form brittle strands (25-30 min)
Spread on waxed paper lined jelly roll pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips over hot candy; let stand 5 minutes. Spread melted chocolate evenly over candy; sprinkle with nuts. Cool completely; break into pieces
