- 1/2 MEDIUM ONION / CHOPPED
- 1/4 CUP CARROTS / GRATED
- 1/4 CUP FRESH PARSLEY
- 2 CUPS COOKED BLACK BEANS
- 1 TBSP DIJON MUSTARD
- 1/2 BREAD CRUMBS (GLUTEN FREE)
- 1 TSP CHILI POWDER
- 1 TSP GARLIC POWDER
- 1 TSP ONION POWDER
- 1/2 TSP KOSHER SALT
- 1/2 TSP GROUND PEPPER

Preparation
Step 1
HEAT SKILLET ON MEDIUM HEAT AND COAT WITH NONSTICK SPRAY. ONCE WARM ADD THE
RED ONIONS AND CARROTS AND SAUTE FOR 2 MINUTES. STIR IN CHILI, GARLIC AND
ONION POWDER AND COOK UNTIL ONIONS ARE TRANSLUCENT.
TURN OFF HEAT AND COOL / ADD TO FOOD PROCESSOR AND ADD PARSLEY / PULSE. ADD
BEANS AND PULSE 5 OR 6 TIME / USE CARE NOT TO OVER PROCESS BEANS.
TRANSFER MIXTURE INTO BOWL AND ADD BREAD CRUMBS, MUSTARD, SALT, AND PEPPER.
FORM INTO PATTIES. COOK IN SKILLET FLIPPING ONCE UNTIL BROWNED (7-8 MIN)
