- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
- 4 1/2 cups flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tbsp. vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
Cream sugar, egg and oil. Mix dry ingredients and add to mixture.
Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls, and place onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated 375° oven, or until golden. Let stand on cookie sheet two minutes before removing to cool on wire racks.
