Mom's Fruit Salad
- 1 lg frozen strawberries
- 1 lg can fruit cocktail
- 1 lg can pineapple tidbits
- 1 can mandarin oranges
- 1 apple, peeled & diced
- Optional: banana, cantaloupe, watermelon, grapes
- 1 sm pkg cook & serve vanilla pudding

Drain fruit (reserving 1 1/2 cups of the juice)and mix together in a large bowl. Add juice (1 1/2 cups) from fruit to pudding mix and cook to boil, stirring often. Cool. Pour pudding mixture into fruit, stir and refrigerate. Add 1 diced apple and optional fruit (also diced). If you choose to use banana- add shortly before serving.
This is best served in bowls as it can be a little juicy.
