Ingredients
- 8 baking potatoes
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 1 cup Bacon Bits
- 1/4 tsp. Lowreys Season Salt
- Pepper
- 1 Cup Cheddar/Jack Cheese
- Milk as needed
- Green Onions (If you are going to freeze leave out onions)
Preparation
Step 1
Bake potatoes for 1 hour 45 minutes.
Mix softened butter, bacon bits, sour cream. Mix all this together.
Cut potatoes in half very soon after baking, scoop out potatoes into bowl with butter mixture. Add 1 cup grated cheese and mix well. May need a little milk. Fill hollowed out potatoes, put on baking sheet and top with additional cheese. Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350.
May keep in refrigerator for up to 3 days before cooking. May be frozen before cooking. Add cheese on top afater thawed and before cooking.
