sweet and saucy ribs

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork baby back ribs
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 1/2 c bbq sauce ( not mesquite)
  • 1 jar cherry jam or preserves (8oz)
  • 1 t dijon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • salt and pepper if desired

Preparation

Step 1

1) trim and discard excess fat. rub 1 tsp pepper over ribs. cut ribs into 2 rib portions. place in slow cooker.

2) combine rest of ingredients in bowl; pour over ribs.. cover and cook low 6-8 hours or high 3-4 hours til tender

3) taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper; serve with rib sauce
