Ingredients
- 3 eggs separated
- 3 T Mrs. Filbert marg
- 3 c milk
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 c sugar
- coconut
- 3/8 c cornstarch
- coconut flavoring
Preparation
Step 1
In bowl, mix egg yolks, 1 ½ c milk and corn starch. In saucepan, mix 1 ½ c milk, margarine, sugar, coconut and flavor. Heat. When hot add egg yolk mixture and stir until thick.
Beat egg whites (add 3/4 c sugar and 1/4 tsp cream of tartar) and put on custard. 350, 12 minutes.
