Asian style ribs

Ingredients

  • 2 full racks of baby back pork ribs, split each into 3 sections
  • 6 oz hoisin sauce
  • 2 t fresh minced ginger
  • 1/2 c maraschino cherries
  • 1/2 c rice wine vinegar
  • water to cover
  • 4 scallions, chopped

Preparation

Step 1

1) combine all except scallions in slow cooker. cover and cook low 6-7 hours or high 3-3 1/2 hours or til pork is done

2) remove ribs. thicken sauce, heat uncovered or cook in saucepan til the consistency is like bbq sauce. sprinkle with scallions. serve with extra sauce
