Apple Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 2 Granny Smith apples
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 TSP vanilla
  • 1 can of 8 count crescent rolls
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup orange juice

Preparation

Step 1

Peel and core apples. cut into 1/4's. Wrap each piece of apple in one crescent roll. Place in baking dish. Sprinkle with Cinnamon. Combine butter, sugar and juice in saucepan. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Pour over rolls(syrup will cook down) Bake @ 350* for 30 minutes. Spoon sauce over rolls and serve.
