Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp cloves
  • White sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and brown sugar together. Ad molasses and egg and beat until light and fluffy. Stir dry ingredients together and add to wet mixture. Shape cookie dough into small balls, roll in white sugar and place 2" apart on greased cookie sheet. Flatten with fork.
Bake at 375F for 8-10 minutes.
