Italian Vegetable Soup

Delicious hamburger stew type soup with a twist! Serve with shredded cheddar cheese melted on top.

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground chuck - I use more
- 1 C diced onion
- 1 C sliced celery
- 1 C sliced carrots
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 16 oz can tomatoes
- 15 oz can tomato sauce
- 1 can yellow hominy
- 2 C water
- 5 tsp beef bouillon
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/4 tsp basil
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 C shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup macaroni

Preparation
Step 1
1. Brown beef and drain.
2. Add all other ingredients except cabbage and macaroni and bring to boil; cover and simmer 30 minutes.
3. Add cabbage and macaroni; bring to boil and simmer until veggies are tender.
