Tagliatelle with Smashed Peas and Sausage
Tagliatelle with peas and pork sausage
- 1 lb tagliatelle
- 1/2 pound (or more to your liking) broken up pork sausage casings removed
- 1 bag frozen peas thawed
- 1 cup whole milk ricotta
- Fresh basil
- Pecorino romano cheese
- 1 glove minced garlic
- 2 tbl olive oil
Cook tagliatelle according to package directions.
Heat olive oil in a frying pan and saute the broken up pork sausage, then add in minced garlic and cook.
Add the thawed peas and smash them a bit and cook.
Add the cooked tagliatelle to the pan, then add the ricotta and mix. Add pasta water until a sauce is made.
Add the chopped basil, the pecorino romani, and toos. Serve.
