HAM AND POTATO AU GRATIN

Ingredients

  • 4 cups cubed potatoes
  • 2 cups diced cooked ham
  • 1 can (3 oz) sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 cup skim milk
  • 4 oz grated sharp cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup swoft bread crumbs
  • 1 tbsp margarine, melted

Preparation

Step 1

Boil potatoes 10 minutes; drain. Layer potatoes, ham, mushroom in shallow 2 qt casserole. In medium saucepan, melt 1/4 cup margarine; stir in flour, blending thoroughly. Slowly add milk, stirring until thickened. Fold in cheese and sour cream. Pour over casserole. Combine crumbs and margarine; sprinke over casserole. Bake in oven 30-50 minutes until hot and bubbly.
