Ingredients

  • 1/2 of a box of pasta
  • 2 1/2 cups of milk
  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • 4 Tbsp of flour
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce {optional}
  • 1 tsp salt
  • cayenne to taste {optional}
  • 8 ounces of sharp cheddar cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Boil a big pot of water with a good bit of salt. Cook the pasta as directed on the box. Strain and return to the pot.

While the pasta is cooking, melt the butter in another sauce pan. Add the flour and let the flour and butter cook together for a minute. Then, add the milk, half and half, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and a dash of cayenne pepper. Simmer for about 5 minutes (or until it begins to thicken.

Stir in the shredded cheese. When melted and combined well add the finished cheese sauce to the pasta and stir. Enjoy!
