Chocolate mayonnaise cake

Ingredients

• Chocolate mayonnaise cake
• 2 cups a.p. Flour
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/4 cup cocoa
• 2 tsp. Baking soda
• Pinch salt
• 1 cup water
• 1 cup mayonnaise
• 2 cups Powdered sugar
• 1/2 cup cocoa
• 1 tsp.
• 1/2 tsp. Sherry

Preparation

Step 1

preheat oven to 400 degrees

1) sift together the flour, sugar, baking soda, & cocoa powder
2) add in a pinch of salt
3) with a whisk stir in water & mayonnaise, alternately until smooth mixture is attained, do not over mix batter
4) pour batter into prepared cake pan, bake until cake tester comes clean but not dry

Frosting -- cream 1/2 cup butter until light, gradually add 2 cups
Powdered sugar, 1/2 cup cocoa, 1 tsp., 1/2 tsp. Sherry
