Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

• 2 cups sugar
• 2 cups flour
• 1/2 stick butter
• 1/2 cup vegetable oil
• 1 cup water
• 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 cup buttermilk
• 1 teaspoon soda
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Mix sugar and flour. Put butter, oil, water and cocoa in saucepan and heat to boiling. Mix with dry ingredients. Add eggs, buttermilk, soda and vanilla.

Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan.

Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

Top with your favorite frosting.
